What Can I Do If DR Fails to Be Started After I Bind Disks

Symptom

I bind multiple disks to a DR VM concurrently. That is, I bind another disk before a success result about the former bound one is returned. After binding, the protected group fails to be executed and using the disks to start DR fails.

Possible Causes

Concurrently binding disks makes DR fail to be started.

Procedure

1. Log in to FusionCompute at the production site.
2. View the prompt messages of the tasks to bind disks to the DR VM, and check whether any description indicating failed disk DR startup is displayed.
   • If yes, go to Step 3.
   • If no, contact Huawei technical support.

3. After unbinding disks with the preceding description, re-bind them to ensure no such description is displayed or restart the VM.
4. Re-execute the protected group to start the DR.
