What Can I Do If the System Startup Fails When I Install UltraVR on a VM

Symptom

The VM responds slowly when I install UltraVR on it. The decompression of the UltraVR installation package or the UltraVR installation process takes over 10 minutes. The system startup progress stays at 60% and finally fails to start.

Possible Causes

1. Resources allocated to the VM are insufficient or the VM has been running for a long period, causing high memory usage and slow response.
2. The virtualization server to which this VM belongs has too many VMs in running status. Therefore, physical resources allocated to each VM are limited, causing slow response.

Procedure

1. Set the memory and CPU resources allocated to the UltraVR VM to fixed sizes instead of dynamic allocation. For details about the settings, see the UltraVR standard configuration.
2. Restart the VM and shut down all VMs that are not in use.
