Why the Network Adapter Are Incorrectly Recovered After the Host-Based Replication Test

Symptom

In a host-based replication scenario, VM network adapters are incorrectly recovered after the DR test.

Possible Causes

Before the next test period starts, VM network adapter information has been modified. As a result, the management data is inconsistent with the service data.

Procedure

1. Log in to UltraVR at the production site.
2. On the menu bar, select Resources.
3. On the navigation bar, select the site at which FusionManager/FusionCompute is to be modified, and click FusionSphere.
4. Select changed FusionManager/FusionCompute VMs and click Refresh on the Operation list.

   Refreshing the latest configuration data of the VMs at the production site will synchronize the data to the DR site.

5. Choose Protection.
6. Select the protected group where the VMs reside and click Execute on the Operation list.

   A latest snapshot is generated.

7. Perform the test again.
