Create a protected group for FusionCompute VMs that need DR protection. After the protected group is created, the system automatically matches suitable protection policies for the protected group.
A protected group can contain only one FusionCompute VM.
Protection. If the datastore where the VMs managed by FusionCompute reside uses only the HA DR technology, select HA.
The HyperMetro technology of storage arrays is used for protection. Service data is written to two data centers in real time.
After selecting the HA protection type, select the production storage where the VMs to be protected reside, and move the VMs to be protected from the Available VMs list to the Selected VMs list.
A maximum of 200 VMs can be added to the selected VM list at a time.
The suspension time ranges from 1 to 14400.
When the HA DR technology is used, select High availability: HA DR Solution from the matched protection policies.
Resources, choose the site on the management server and under the site node, click Storage. Click Refresh in the operation button area of the modified storage device to refresh the storage device information. Refresh the FusionCompute or FusionManager information too and recreate a protected group. On the Set HA Target Storage page, set the HA target storage. Table 1 describes related parameters.

Parameter |
Description |
|---|---|
Site |
Select the DR site for which you want to configure DR protection. |
DR Storage |
Select the DR storage that has been added to the DR site. |
Production Replication Cluster |
Select the replication cluster corresponding to the production storage. |
DR Replication Cluster |
Select the replication cluster corresponding to the DR storage. |
HyperMetro Domain |
The value is automatically generated after you select a production replication cluster and a DR replication cluster. |
When you set a non-preferred HyperMetro storage pool for each preferred HyperMetro storage pool, one preferred HyperMetro storage pool can correspond to only one non-preferred HyperMetro storage pool.
Resources. And refresh resources or storage devices where the protected objects reside. Then go to the protected group page and refresh protected objects of the protected group by clicking More > Refresh. After the command for refreshing information is sent, you can view details about the command execution in Background Task.
