How to Obtain

UltraVR installation package

The UltraVR Server is installed on the DR management server and provides DR service process control, DR policy scheduling, configuration data management of DR resources and services. The UltraVR Server can be installed using software packages as follows:

The UltraVR can be installed using software packages as follows:

  • UltraVR V100R003C10SPC900_for_Euler_ARM.tar.gz
  • UltraVR V100R003C10SPC900_for_Euler_X86.tar.gz
  • UltraVR V100R003C10SPC900_VHD_For_Euler_ARM.zip
  • UltraVR V100R003C10SPC900_VHD_For_Euler_X86.zip
NOTE:

Version numbers in the preceding software packages vary with site conditions.

VRG software package

The Virtual Replication Gateway (VRG) must be installed when the protected objects are FusionSphere VMs and the host-based replication technology is used for DR. The VRG provides the following functions:

  • Aggregates, compresses, and encrypts VM I/O data and transmits the data to the remote site.
  • Receives data from the remote site and transmits the data to the specified host.
  • Provides management interfaces for delivering replication policies and querying statuses.

VRG is updated with FusionCompute. The VRG software package is named FusionCompute V100R006C10_VRG.zip.

NOTE:

If the host-based replication DR technology is required, ensure that the FusionCompute version is between 5.0 and 6.1.

Cross-platform remote access tool

Used to access nodes from Windows during software installation. PuTTY is recommended. You can select other cross-platform remote access tools based on site requirements.

You can obtain PuTTY from http://www.putty.org/.

Cross-platform file transfer tool

Used to transfer files between Windows and Linux. WinSCP is recommended. You can select other cross-platform file transfer tools based on site requirements.

You can obtain WinSCP from http://www.winscp.net.

FusionCompute reference documentation

FusionCompute xxx Product Documentation

NOTE:

You need to select reference documentation based on the version of FusionSphere at the production site.

When protected objects are FusionSphere VMs, follow instructions in product documentation to perform the following operations:

  • Log in to FusionCompute.
  • Perform cascading configurations for FusionManager and FusionCompute.
  • Connect FusionCompute to storage arrays.
  • Configure clusters, host resources, and port group resources for FusionCompute.
  • Add the DR service management interface for the hosts where DR VMs reside.
  • Configure specification properties for production VMs when specifying a recovery network for VMs.
  • Unbind the logcatche disk from the VRG VM if the logcatche disk is corrupted.

FusionManager reference documentation

FusionManager xxx Product Documentation

NOTE:

You need to select reference documentation based on the version of FusionSphere at the production site.

When protected objects are FusionSphere VMs, follow instructions in product documentation to perform the following operations:

  • Log in to FusionManager.
  • Perform cascading configurations for FusionManager and FusionCompute.
  • Configure network and security group resources for FusionManager.

UltraPath reference documentation

OceanStor UltraPath for Linux xxx User Guide

If UltraPath is installed on the Linux-based DR host, you need to follow instructions in this guide to set the I/O suspension time of UltraPath when performing DR tests, scheduled migration, and fault recovery. The I/O suspension time of UltraPath cannot be 0. Besides, there must be physical devices corresponding to virtual devices generated by UltraPath on the DR host.
