Deleting a Protected Group

Prerequisites

• Before performing this operation, ensure that the protected group is in neither the Locked nor the Executing state.
• Before performing this operation, ensure that the recovery plan of the protected group has been deleted. Deleting a recovery plan see the section Delete a Recovery Plan.

Context

All protected objects in the protected group do not need to be protected.

Procedure

1. On the menu bar, select Protection.
2. Select the protected group that you want to delete and choose More > Delete in the operation area.
   

   Distributed deployment, delete the protected group on the UltraVR node corresponding to the production site of the protected group.

3. In the Warning dialog box that is displayed, read the content of the dialog box carefully and select I have read and understood the consequences associated with performing this operation.
4. Click OK.
