Description
The capacities of the active and standby LUNs in protected group (name: {1}) are inconsistent, or the capacity of the local LUN is inconsistent with the data storage capacity.

Impact on the System
If the capacities of LUNs of two ends are different or the capacity of the local LUN is different from that of the datastore, the protected group cannot perform protection or recovery.
Possible Cause
The capacity of the local or remote LUN has been expanded.
Procedure
- Click Protection in the navigation tree and select the desired protected group based on the protected group name in the alarm information. Click the row where the desired PG resides and click the Topology tab.
- Move the cursor to the LUN icons of the production site and DR site, check whether the capacities of the protected remote replication or HyperMetro LUNs are consistent, and view and record the datastore name and production site name.
- Move the cursor to a storage device with a smaller LUN capacity, and view and record the serial number and model of the storage device.
- Search for the operation guide of the corresponding storage device at http://support.huawei.com based on the storage device model.
- Click Resources in the navigation tree and locate the corresponding storage device based on the storage device SN recorded in 3. Choose More > Manage Device in the row where the storage device resides to log in to the device management page.
- Expand the LUN capacity as instructed in 4.
If the fault is rectified, go to 7.
If the fault fails to be rectified, go to 9.
- Return to the UltraVR page and choose More > Refresh on the right of the storage device. Wait for 3 seconds and click Refresh on the right of FusionSphere to refresh the protected objects in the protected group.
- Check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 9.
- Contact technical support engineers.
