During the running process of UltraVR, the maintenance personnel must perform check and maintenance operations periodically to discover and eliminate potential faults, optimize the software based on site requirements, and improve the running efficiency of the software.

• Alarm Management
  The alarm management function supports alarm statistics collection, alarm notification, and alarm dump. By viewing the alarm information, the network administrators can monitor the network exceptions in real time and take measures to recover the network in a timely manner.

  System logs help you fast locate faults, so you are advised to back up logs periodically.

  The security of UltraVR is vital for an entire DR system. UltraVR provides measures such as user password complexity check, password lockup mechanism, modify the user password, and user certificate authority or replacement to ensure database security.

  Remote maintenance and management involve managing the information of the remote maintenance center and the site information.

• Changing the Password of the Alarm Reporting Account of a Third-Party NMS
  This operation changes the password of the alarm reporting account of UltraVR to that of a third-party NMS to improve the function of the alarm reporting is normal.
• Viewing Monitored System Performance Information
  The system performance menu shows the usage of system resources. By monitoring system performance, you can view the usage of CPUs, memories, and disk capacity to understand system running status and locate potential faults.
• Managing Background Tasks
  Some tasks that take a long time to execute run at the background, avoiding waiting a long time for the system to return the result. Managing a background task consists of viewing, searching, and clearing a task.
