Symptom
A protected group in Invalid state. Its status remains the same even it is refreshed after its protected objects are all recovered.
Possible Causes
- UltraVR obtains the status of the protected objects periodically. As a result, UltraVR cannot aware the status change of protected objects immediately.
- Failed to restore the protected group.
Procedure
- Log In To UltraVR.
- If the recovery plan status of the protected group is execution failed, go to 2.
- If the protected group does not have a recovery plan or the recovery plan is in the ready or completed state, go to 3.
- Execute the recovery plan again.
- On the menu bar, click
Recovery. - Select the recovery plan that fails to be executed and click Execution Records to view the failure cause and rectify related faults.
- Execute the recovery plan again.
- After the recovery plan is successfully executed, go to 3.
- Refresh resources.
- On the menu bar, select
Resources. - In the navigation tree, select sites corresponding to the NE (storage or VM) and click Refresh on the Operation list in the line where the NE is displayed.
- In the upper right corner on the main page, you can click
, and check the refreshed task running status on the Background Task page. - Refresh the protected group.
