Viewing the Home Page

The eReplication shows common information in different planes on the home page for your convenience.

Context

All users that have logged in to the system have permissions to view the common information on the home page.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, choose Home.

    • To obtain the latest information, click refresh in the upper right corner of the page.
    • To view topologies, click Topology View on the right.

  2. View the protected groups' RPO compliance, recovery plan test duration, and recovery plan test status. Table 1 describes the statistical items.

    To view details, click More in the lower right corner of each statistical information area.

    Specifies the number of protected groups in the Yes, No, or Unknown state.

    • If the actual RPO value is smaller than or equal to the configured RPO value, the RPO compliance is Yes.
    • If the actual RPO value is greater than the configured RPO value, the RPO compliance is No.
    • If the actual RPO value is --, the RPO compliance can be Unknown, Yes, or No based on actual DR scenarios and internal statistics.

    Recovery Plan Test Duration

    0 to 15 min

    Calculates the number of recovery plan tests in each period within the latest three months.

    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests that take 0 to 15 minutes on average.
    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests that take 15 to 30 minutes on average.
    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests that take 30 to 60 minutes on average.
    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests that take longer than 60 minutes on average.

    If reprotection has been performed for the recovery plan, use the recovery plan test duration after the latest successful reprotection for calculation.

    Recovery Plan Test Status

    Succeeded

    Calculates the number of recovery plan tests for each execution result within the latest three months.

    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests whose test result is Succeeded.
    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests whose test result is Failed.
    • Calculates the number of recovery plan tests whose test result is Not tested.

    If reprotection has been performed for the recovery plan, use the test result of the recovery plan after the latest successful reprotection for calculation.

    a: Recovery Point Objective (RPO). It refers to the data loss amount of the service system that can be tolerated by the customer. For example, if data is synchronized every hour and data of a maximum of one hour is lost when a disaster occurs, the RPO is 1 hour.

  3. View the number of objects and the number of protected objects and determine whether to perform DR protection for the unprotected objects.
  4. View alarm statistics. Users can quickly view the number of uncleared alarms of each severity in the system and switch to the alarm page to view alarm details.

    • You can click View Details to go to the alarm page and view details and modification suggestions of all alarms on the Current Alarms tab page.
    • You can click the area corresponding to an alarm severity to go to the alarm page and view details and modification suggestions of the alarm severity on the Current Alarms tab page.
