If the copy type is LUN or NAS file on a Huawei storage array, perform the following steps to create a mounting plan:
Procedure in the LUN Scenario
- In the navigation tree, choose Utilization > Data Mounting.
- Click Create.
- Set Name and Description of the mounting plan.
- Select Protection Plan.
If no proper protection plan is found, click Advanced Selection. On the Select Protection Plan page, search for the protection plan based on Type, Protection Plan, Protection Site, or Protection Policy.
- Configure the mounting settings.
Select Site and Host or Host Group to which the copy is mounted.
- Select a mounting time point.
- (Optional) Select Create level-2 copy mounting and select Level-2 Copy Type.
level-2 copy is created for the selected copy to prevent data from being read and written to the selected copy, thereby destroying the data at the selected copy time.
- Optional: If you want scripts to be executed automatically on the host to adapt to special data usage scenarios, for example, invoke the script to execute data decription, or stop or start a process, log in to the host to download the script template and customize the script, click Advanced to set the names of the pre-script and post-script to be mounted.

- A customized script is not provided by eReplication, so the script provider must ensure the script correctness. Before configuring the script, ensure that the script has been tested and verified.
- Place the self-defined execution script in a specified path.
- In Windows: the path is %OceanStor BCManager Agent install path%\bin\thirdparty\
- In Linux/UNIX: the path is /home/rdadmin/Agent/sbin/thirdparty/
- Set mounting items. Table 1 describes related parameters.

Description

Remarks

Unmount Mounted Copies Before Mounting
|
Before mounting copies for multiple times, unmount the mounted copies. Otherwise, the copies may fail to be mounted.
If this parameter is selected, the system automatically unmounts all copies mounted to the current host.
|
This parameter can be configured for supported protected objects.
|
Delete the copies automatically after the unmounting
|
If this parameter is selected, the system automatically deletes the unmounted copy.
|
This parameter can be configured for supported protected objects.

Procedure in the NAS Scenario
- In the navigation tree, choose Utilization > Data Mounting.
- Click Create.
- Set Name and Description of the mounting plan.
- Select Protection Plan.
If no proper protection plan is found, click Advanced Selection. On the Select Protection Plan page, search for the protection plan based on Type, Protection Plan, Production Site, or Protection Policy.
- Configure the mounting settings.
Set Shared Prefix, Clone Split Rate, Protocol, Select Template, Site, Host or Host Group, and Mounting Time.
- Before selecting a template, ensure that there is a file system for which the CIFS share or NFS share has been created under the storage tenant. The share permission of the newly created level-2 copy is the same as that of the selected template.
- Create level-2 copy mounting is automatically selected. Level-2 Copy Type is Snapshot Clone by default.
To prevent direct read and write operations on the selected copy from damaging the data at the point in time of the selected copy, the system creates a level-2 copy for the selected copy.
- When the number of copy levels is 1, Create level-2 copy mounting is automatically selected.
- If the number of copy levels is 2, Create level-2 copy mounting cannot be selected.
- (Optional) Select the names of the pre-processing script and post-processing script to be mounted.
If you need to automatically execute scripts on a host to adapt to special data utilization scenarios, for example, invoking a script to execute the data decryption function or stop or start a process, log in to the host in advance to download the script template and customize the script.

- A customized script is not provided by eReplication, so the script provider must ensure the script is correct. Before configuring the script, ensure that the script has been verified.
- If the host type is Agent, save the customized execution script to the specified path:
Path in Windows: %OceanStor BCManager Agent install path%\bin\thirdparty\
Path in Linux/UNIX: /home/rdadmin/Agent/sbin/thirdparty/
- If the host type is Agentless, save the customized execution script to the specified path:
Linux: The script is stored in /xxxx/Agentless/custom, where xxxx indicates the user-defined Agentless installation directory.
