If the file system type of the protected group is set to file system and the storage information of the protected group is changed, manually refresh the protected group information before refreshing the protected group.
Precautions
- If the file type of the protected group is set to file system, you need to refresh the storage device before refreshing the protected group.
- If the file type of the protected group is set to file system, protected objects cannot be automatically added to or removed from the protected group when you refresh the protected group. However, you can refresh the protected group to synchronize snapshot information.
- If the file type of the protected group is tenant, protected objects are automatically added to or removed from the protected group after the protected group is refreshed.

Procedure
- On the menu bar, select Resources.
- In the navigation tree, select the site where the storage devices reside and click Refresh.
In the upper right corner of the main page, click
, in Background Task, you can view details about the refreshing.
- On the menu bar, select Protection.
- Click the refreshed protected group, click Refresh on the Operation list to refresh information of the protected group.
