Application Resource Management

After a cluster is added, eReplication allows you to view, add, delete, or refresh application resources in the cluster.

Prerequisites

A Kubernetes cluster has been added.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click Resources.
  2. In the navigation tree, find the site corresponding to the application resource to be operated, and choose kubernetes.
  3. In the list, locate and click the row that contains the cluster corresponding to the application resource to be operated. The Application Resource tab is displayed.
  4. Click Application Resource to view the application resource information.

    View application resource information. You can directly view the resource information list or filter application resources by Name or Namespaces.

  5. To add an application resource, click Add on the Application Resource tab page and set basic information about the application resource. Table 1 describes the parameters.

    Name

    Name of the application resource to be added.

    [Value range]

    The value can contain digits, lowercase letters, hyphens (-), and periods (.). There must be a character between the dot (.) and hyphen (-) and must start and end with a lowercase letter or digit. The maximum length is 63 characters.

    Namespace

    Namespace to which the application resource to be added belongs.

    Select a value from the drop-down list box.

    Label

    Optional: Select tags of related resources in the namespace to filter out the resources to be protected.

    Select a value from the drop-down list box.

  6. To delete an application resource, click Delete in the Operation column of the application resource to be deleted, select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.

    To delete application resources in batches, select the check boxes of the application resources to be deleted and click Delete above the resource list. Select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation, and click OK.

  7. To refresh an application resource, click Refresh in the Operation column of the application resource to be refreshed.

    If a protected group has been created for the application resource to be refreshed, you need to refresh the protected group after refreshing the application resource. For details about how to refresh the protected group, see Updating a Protected Group.
