Before configuring the disaster recovery service, check whether the database environments on the production ends meet requirements. If the environments do not meet requirements, adjust the database configuration.
Common Check Items
- For a PowerHA cluster, ensure that the names of the hosts where the databases on the production ends reside are consistent with the names of the corresponding nodes in the PowerHA cluster. If their names are inconsistent, protected groups cannot be created.
- For a PowerHA cluster, ensure that the names of Caché instances on nodes in the cluster are consistent.
- For a PowerHA cluster, ensure that the customer configurations (resources and interdependencies among them) on nodes in the cluster are consistent.
- The OSs supported by the PowerHA or RHCS cluster meet the compatibility requirements. For details, see the OceanStor BCManager 8.5.1 eReplication Compatibility List.
