Creating a Site

Precautions

Create at least two sites.

Procedure

1. On the menu bar, click Resources.
2. In the navigation tree, select the management server where the sites are to be added.
3. Click Create Site.
4. Configure the site information by referring to Table 1.

   Table 1 Parameters for creating a site

   Parameter	Description	Value
   Parameter	Name of the site to be created.	[Value range] Contains 4 to 32 characters. Contains letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-), and cannot start with a hyphen (-).
   Description	Description of the site to be created.	[Value range] Contains 0 to 255 characters. [Example] Local site
   Air Gap Network Isolation Zone	Whether to set the site as a network isolation zone.	openGauss does not support the Air Gap scenario. Therefore, do not select this option.

5. Click OK.
