After the authentication information about resources associated with a protected group is changed, you need to update the information in the eReplication system to ensure that DR services are running properly.
Updating Authentication Information About a Storage Device
- On the menu bar, click Resources.
- In the navigation tree, select the site where the storage device whose information you want to modify resides, and click Storage.
- Select the storage device whose information you want to modify and choose More > Modify in the Operation area.
- Change the name or authentication information of the storage device and click OK.
Before you change the authentication information, enable Modify Authentication.

Updating Host Authentication Information
- On the menu bar, click Resources.
- On the navigation bar, select the site where the host whose information is to be modified resides and click Host.
- Select the host whose information you want to modify and choose More > Modify in the Operation area.
- Modify the host name, authentication information, or alarm reporting parameters, and click OK.
Before you change the authentication information, enable Modify Authentication.

Updating openGauss Cluster Authentication Information
- On the menu bar, click Protection.
- In the protected group list, click the protected group to be updated.
- Click the Protected Object tab.
- Locate the openGauss cluster whose authentication information is to be updated and click Modify Authentication in the Operation column.
- Enter the new user name and password, and click OK.
