Switching the Preferred Site for a HyperMetro Consistency Group

This section describes how to switch the preferred site of a HyperMetro consistency group. If a fault occurs, services will be provided by the preferred site after the switchover.

Prerequisites

Running Status of the consistency group is Paused, Normal, Synchronizing, Force Start, or To be synchronized.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Protection Group > HyperMetro Consistency Group.
  2. Click More on the right of a desired HyperMetro consistency group and select Preferred Site Switchover.
  3. Confirm your operation as prompted.
