Performing a Scan Immediately

Procedure

1. Choose Settings > Data Security > Antivirus Service > Namespace Scan Tasks.
2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
3. Select a namespace scan task for which you want to perform a scan immediately and choose More > Scan Now.

   The Scan Now page is displayed on the right.

4. In the On-Demand Scan Policy drop-down list, select a desired on-demand scan policy. The system immediately scans the namespace for viruses based on the selected on-demand scan policy.
   

   This parameter needs to be set only when no on-demand scan policy is configured for the namespace.

5. Set the duration, which can be Custom or Until the scan completes. The configured duration takes effect only for the current scan.
6. Click OK.
