This section describes how to periodically change the password of a user for system security.
Context
- Super administrators and other administrators can only change their own passwords but cannot change the passwords of other users. Only super administrators can initialize passwords of non-super administrators.
- If a password has expired or been initialized, the system prompts you to change the password when you log in to DeviceManager.
- If a password is about to expire, the system prompts you to change the password after you log in to DeviceManager.
- To prevent security risks of the storage system due to password leakage, you need to modify the password upon initial login and periodically change the password.
Procedure

- Select the desired user and click Modify.
The Modify User page is displayed.
- (Optional) Change the password of the current user. Select Modify Password, and set Old Password, New Password, and Confirm Password.

- A password cannot be the same as the user name or the reverse of the user name.
- A password cannot be the same as the old password.
