The POE service domain name is the unified entry for accessing the POE service.
The POE service domain name needs to be configured only when the object service uses IAM authentication.
Procedure
- Choose Settings > Object Service Settings > Domain Name Settings > POE Service.
- Configure a POE service domain name.
- A domain name contains 3 to 253 characters, including lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-). A sub-domain name cannot start or end with a hyphen (-).
- The domain name must contain a second-level domain name. Each sub-domain name contains 1 to 63 characters and is separated from each other using periods (.). The top-level domain name cannot contain digits only.
- Click Save.
Follow-up Procedure
After changing the POE service domain name, perform the following operations:
- Change the URL of the POE authentication server configured in the current cluster. For details, see Configuring External Service Parameters.
- All the preceding operations must be performed on other clusters in the current region, including modifying the POE service domain name and modifying the POE URL in Procedure.
