Viewing Zones

Context

• In the zone management area, click to refresh zones.
• In the zone management area, click to export a list of zones.
• In the zone management area, you can click or next to a parameter and enter a key word or select a parameter value to search for desired zones.
• In the zone management area, click and select desired zone parameters to be viewed.

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Access > Service Network.
2. Select an account and the account's subnet from the Account and Subnet drop-down lists, respectively.
3. View the zones in the function pane. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 Zone parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Name of a zone.
   Zone Type	Type of a zone.
   Home Subnet	Subnet to which a zone belongs.
   Sub-domain Name	Sub-domain name of a zone. This function must be used together with the DNS function in the subnet.
   Network Type	Network type of ports in a zone. Only ports of this network type can be added to the zone.
   DNS Policy	DNS policy of a zone. Possible values are as follows: Round robin If clients access services using domain names, nodes are selected to process service requests of clients based on the sequence recorded in the cache. Node connections If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the fewest connections are selected to process service requests of clients. CPU usage If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the lowest CPU usage are selected to process service requests of clients. Node throughput If clients access services using domains names, nodes with the lowest throughput are selected to process service requests of clients.
   DNS Service	Whether the DNS service is enabled.
   IP Address Failover	Whether to enable IP address failover. After this parameter is enabled, when a node is faulty, its IP address can be automatically allocated to another normal node. Therefore, clients can continue to access the storage system using this IP address. After failover, the new access node takes over services of the faulty node as extra service load, which may cause the access node to be overloaded.

   

   You can click the name of a zone to view its basic information, IP address pool, and port pool.
