Diagnosing Plane Network Link Status

Procedure

1. Choose Cluster > Network > Diagnosis > In-Depth Diagnosis
2. Click Plane Diagnosis.

   The Plane Diagnosis page is displayed.

3. Click Configure Plane Diagnosis.

   The Plane Diagnosis page is displayed.

4. Set plane diagnosis parameters. Table 1 describes the parameters.

   Parameter	Description
   Network Plane	The value can be Management plane, Storage plane, or Control plane. NOTE: The control plane can be selected only when multiple IP addresses are enabled for the front-end storage network.
   Diagnosis Object	Node: Selected nodes are diagnosed. Disk pool: Nodes in a disk pool are diagnosed.
   Node	If Diagnosis Object is set to Node, you need to specify a node. All: indicates all nodes. Specific: Select nodes in the Available Nodes area and add them to the Selected Nodes area on the right.
   Storage Pool	If Diagnosis Object is set to Disk pool, you need to specify a storage pool where a disk pool resides.
   Disk pool	If Diagnosis Object is set to Disk pool, you need to specify a disk pool. All: indicates all disk pools. Specific: Select disk pools in the Available Disk Pools area and add them to the Selected Disk Pools area on the right.

5. Click OK. The system starts the diagnosis.
   

   If you are performing a plane diagnosis when a node capacity expansion or reduction is being performed in a cluster, the diagnosis may fail. You are advised to try again later.

6. After the diagnosis is complete, view the diagnosis result.
   

   The diagnosis result includes the average packet loss rate and average packet latency.
