This section describes how to view details of dtrees.
Context
- On the dtree management page, click
to refresh dtrees. - On the dtree management page, click
next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for desired dtrees. - On the dtree management page, click
and select the dtree parameters to be viewed.
Prerequisites
A namespace and a dtree have been created.
Procedure
- Choose Resources > Resources > Dtree.
- Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
- In the namespace list on the left, select a namespace. Then, view its dtree information in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes related parameters.

Name
Name of a dtree.
Directory Name
Directory name of a dtree.
ID
ID of a dtree.
Security Style
Security mode of a dtree, including:
- Mixed: applies to the scenario where users of CIFS clients (using SMB) and UNIX clients (using NFS/HDFS/DPC) can access and control dtrees. In this style, the permissions are subject to the last permissions set for CIFS clients or UNIX clients. CIFS permissions (NT ACL) and UNIX permissions (UNIX Mode/POSIX ACL/NFSv4 ACL) do not coexist.
- UNIX: applies to the scenario where UNIX mode bits, POSIX ACLs, or NFSv4 ACLs control user permissions.
NOTE:In Mixed style (which supports NT ACLs), if you have configured an NT ACL for a file or directory on a Windows client and switched Mixed to UNIX, the NT ACL in Mixed style will become invalid.
- Click the name of a desired dtree to view its general, quota, protocol, protection, and WORM information.
- When the system is being upgraded, the WORM information of the dtree may be incorrectly displayed. Browse the information after the upgrade is complete.
