Adding a VXLAN

When the storage system needs to connect to the VPC network, you need to configure a VXLAN.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > VXLAN.
  2. Click Add.

    The Add VXLAN page is displayed.

  3. Click Batch Import or Manually Add to add nodes to which VXLANs can be added.

    Add VXLANs for each storage node separately.

    • Batch import nodes.
      1. Click Batch Import.
      2. Click Download the template to download the template locally. Fill the information in the template, click and select the template, and then click Upload. The nodes are imported to the system in a batch.
    • Manually add nodes.
      1. Set VXLAN parameters. Table 1 describes related parameters.

        Parameter

        Description

        Management IP Address

        Management IP address of a storage node.

        Health Check IP Address/Mask

        IP address and mask configured on a storage node for checking the health status of the node. The IP address and mask are used for VPC EP2.0 load balancing.

        Health Check Gateway

        Gateway of the health check IP address.

        VXLAN Tunnel IP Address/Mask

        VTEP IP address used to establish a VXLAN tunnel between nodes. The VTEP IP addresses of the nodes can communicate with each other.

        VXLAN Tunnel Gateway

        Gateway corresponding to the VXLAN tunnel IP address.

        VXLAN Tunnel VLAN ID

        VLAN ID of the service plane.

        Destack Networking

        Select this option when switches are not stacked. Do not select this option when switches are stacked.

      2. Click OK to add the VXLAN to the list.

        You can click More on the right of a VXLAN and select Modify or Delete to manage it.

  4. Click OK.
