Configuring a Static Route for a VLAN Port

This operation enables you to configure a static route for a VLAN port.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Network > Port and Route > VLAN Port.
  2. Select one or more desired VLAN ports and click Configure Static Route.

    The Configure Static Route page is displayed.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired VLAN port and select Manage Static Route. On the Manage Static Route page that is displayed, click Add to configure a static route.

  3. Configure the static route information for a VLAN port.

    • Selecting New in Configuration Mode
      1. Set the parameters listed in Table 1.

        Parameter

        Description

        Destination IP Address

        Indicates the IP address or network segment of the target node network port connected to the VLAN port.

        Mask/Prefix

        Indicates the subnet mask or prefix of the target network segment where the node network port connected to the VLAN port resides.

        Gateway

        Indicates the gateway where the local VLAN port's IP address resides.

      2. (Optional) Click Add to add another static route.
    • Selecting Copy from in Configuration Mode
      1. In Node, click Choose to select a node.
      2. In Port, click Choose to select a port.
      3. In the Available Static Routes list, select one or more required static routes.
      4. (Optional) Click More on the right of a desired route and select Modify to modify it.

        This operation does not change the route information of the source node.

  4. Click OK.
