Pausing a HyperMetro Consistency Group

If you want to pause services in a specific period of time due to site faults or other causes, pause the HyperMetro consistency group of the corresponding site first.

Prerequisites

Running Status of the HyperMetro consistency group is Paused, Normal, Synchronizing, or To be synchronized.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Protection Group > HyperMetro Consistency Group.
  2. Select the desired HyperMetro consistency group and click Pause.

    You can also click More on the right of the desired HyperMetro consistency group and select Pause.

  3. Select Preferred or Non-Preferred and click OK.
  4. Confirm your operation as prompted.

    After a HyperMetro consistency group is paused, you can resume it by synchronizing it again.
