Managing System Status Notification

After you configure email or Syslog notification, this operation enables you to periodically send the system status to maintenance personnel or maintenance centers by email or Syslog.

Context

Only super administrators and administrators can handle alarms. System viewers can only view alarms.

Procedure

Choose Settings > Alarm Settings > Alarm Notification > System Status Notification.
Set Sending Cycle (h) and Customer Information.
1. Set Enable to the on state.
2. Set Sending Cycle (h). The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 168.
3. In the Customer Information text box, enter your company name and contact information, helping maintenance engineers search and locate faults.
  - The value contains 1 to 511 characters.
  - The value cannot contain single quotation marks (').
  - The following is an example of the notification content:
    Dear users:
    
    System Name: My.Storage
    
    Location: User location
    
    Custom Info:
    
    ESN: 12326123261232612325
    
    ID: 0x1FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
    
    Level: Warning
    
    Occurred At: 2021-06-02 16:24:58
    
    Details: This is a test message.
    
    Suggestions: N/A
4. Click Save.
