In the cross-site DR feature, multiple clusters back up each other and can all be in the running state. If a device in a cluster or even the entire cluster is faulty, services can be switched to another cluster. This solves the problem that a traditional DR center cannot carry services and services cannot be switched over, and ensures robust reliability, enhanced service continuity, and high storage resource utilization. The cross-site DR feature is a data disaster recovery (DR) feature of the object service. Before configuring the feature, ensure that the object service has been enabled for all clusters that support the cross-site DR feature.
Cross-site DR can be configured only in non-intelligent video and image scenarios and after an advanced license is imported.
