Viewing a SmartQoS Policy

Context

• On the QoS policy management page, you can click to refresh QoS policy information.
• On the QoS policy management page, you can click or next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for the required QoS policy information.
• On the QoS policy management page, you can click to select the QoS policy parameters you want to view.

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartQoS.
2. In the function pane, you can view the QoS policy information.
   • Table 1 describes the parameters of a policy of the exclusive type.

     Table 1 Parameters of a QoS policy of the exclusive type

     Parameter	Description
     Name	Name of the QoS policy.
     Policy Type	Type of the QoS policy. The value is Exclusive.
     Max. IOPS/GB	Maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed on an object per second per GB.
     Max. IOPS	Maximum IOPS of a single object, that is, the maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed on an object per second.
     Burst IOPS	Maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed on an object per second when the burst function is enabled.
     Burst MBPS/TB	Maximum amount of data that can be transmitted on an object per second per TB when the burst function is enabled.
     Max. MBPS/TB	Maximum amount of data that can be transmitted on an object per second per TB.
     Max. MBPS	Maximum amount of data that can be transmitted on an object per second.
     Max. Read/Write IOPS	Maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed per second.
     Max. Read/Write MBPS	Maximum amount of data that can be read or written per second.
     Trigger Policy	Trigger policy of the QoS policy.

   • Table 2 describes the parameters of a policy of the shared type.

     Parameter	Description
     Name	Name of the QoS policy.
     Policy Type	Type of the QoS policy. The value is Shared.
     Max. IOPS/GB	This parameter is not required for policies of the shared type and is displayed as --.
     Max. IOPS	Maximum IOPS of the storage pool, that is, the maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed on all objects per second.
     Burst IOPS	Maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed per second when the burst function is enabled in the storage pool.
     Burst MBPS/TB	This parameter is not required for policies of the shared type and is displayed as --.
     Max. MBPS/TB	This parameter is not required for policies of the shared type and is displayed as --.
     Max. MBPS	Maximum total amount of data that can be transmitted by the storage pool per second.
     Burst MBPS/Duration	Maximum amount of data that can be transmitted per second in the storage pool when the burst function is enabled.
     Max. Read/Write IOPS	Maximum number of read/write operations that can be performed per second.
     Max. Read/Write MBPS	Maximum amount of data that can be read or written per second.
     Trigger Policy	Trigger policy of the QoS policy.
