Viewing Node Connections

This section describes how to view connections on storage nodes.

Prerequisites

Only the super administrators, administrators, and system viewers can view connections on nodes.

Context

Procedure

  1. Choose Monitor > Client Information > Connections.
  2. View the connection information. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Server Node Name

    Name of a node.

    Management IP Address

    Management IP address of a node.

    NFS Status/Connections

    • NFS connection status. The value can be Enabled, Faulty, or -- (disabled).
    • Number of online NFS clients.

    CIFS Status/Connections

    • CIFS connection status. The value can be Enabled, Faulty, or -- (disabled).
    • Number of online CIFS clients.

    FTP Status/Connections

    • FTP connection status. The value can be Enabled, Faulty, or -- (disabled).
    • Number of online FTP clients.
    NOTE:

    You need to enable the FTP service in the share settings. Otherwise, -- is displayed in this column.

    If the HDFS, object, and file services are all disabled for a node, no connection information of the node will be displayed in the connection information list.
