Exporting Performance Data

This section describes how to export the performance data of a specific object.

Procedure

  1. Choose Monitor > Performance Monitoring > Analysis.
  2. If you want to export the performance data of a remote replication pair, select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.

    • This operation is required only for converged services.
    • The system selects an account by default to export the performance data of objects excluding the remote replication pair, which does not affect the export result.

  3. Click and choose Export Performance Data.

The Export Performance Data page is displayed on the right.

  4. In Time Period, select the desired time range.

Possible options are Last 1 hour, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 3 months, and Last 6 months.

  5. Add the performance data to be exported.

    1. Click Add.

The Add Performance Data to Be Exported page is displayed on the right.

    2. Select the performance data to be exported. Table 1 describes related parameters.
      Table 1 Performance data parameters

      Parameter

      Description

      Object Type

Type of the object whose performance data is to be exported.

Type of an object to be monitored. Modes of filtering objects for which performance statistics are to be collected are as follows:
      • Custom
      • Top: sorts out top N objects of a specified type by a performance metric. Value of N in Top N:

        [Value range]

        1 to 50

        [Default value]

        8

      NOTE:
      • When Object Type is set to Volume, you can select a desired storage pool and sort out top N objects of the specified type by a performance metric.

      Object Instance

Click Select to select the object instances whose performance data is to be exported.

      NOTE:

You do not need to select object instances when Object Type is set to Cluster.

      Statistical Metric

Statistical metrics to be monitored. For details about the definition and meaning of each metric, see Performance Metrics.

      NOTE:

If you need to select the statistical metrics of a service, enable the service first.

    3. Click OK.

  6. View the performance data to be exported.

View the ID of the performance data to be exported, object types, number of object instances, and number of statistical metrics in the table.

  7. Modify the performance data to be exported.

    1. Click More on the right of a desired row in the table and select Modify.

The Modify Performance Data to Be Exported page is displayed on the right.

    2. Modify the performance data to be exported. Table 1 describes related parameters.
    3. Click OK.

  8. Remove the performance data to be exported.

Select the performance data to be removed and click Remove.

You can also click More on the right of a desired row in the table and select Remove.

  9. Click OK.
