Enabling or Disabling the DNS Service

This section describes how to enable or disable the DNS service for ports in a port pool of a zone.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > Service Network.
  2. Select a desired account and subnet from the Account and Subnet drop-down lists, respectively.
  3. Click More on the right of a desired zone and select Port Pool.

    The Port Pool page is displayed.

  4. Click More on the right of a desired port and select Enable DNS Service or Disable DNS Service.

    If the DNS service is disabled on a port, the port does not participate in load balancing in the access zone, and all service IP addresses that belong to the access zone on the port cannot be resolved by the DNS service.

  5. Click Close.
