Viewing Initiators

Context

• On the initiator management page, click to refresh initiators.
• On the initiator management page, click next to a parameter and enter a keyword to search for desired initiators.
• On the initiator management page, click and select initiator parameters to be viewed.

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Access > Host > Initiator.
2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
3. View the initiators in the function pane. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 Initiator parameters

   Parameter	Description
   IQN	IQN of an initiator.
   Associated Host Name	Name of the host associated with an initiator.
   CHAP Authentication	Whether CHAP authentication is enabled for an initiator.
   Performance Monitoring	Whether performance monitoring is enabled for an initiator.

   

   • To view performance information about an initiator, select the initiator, click Enable Performance Monitoring and choose Monitor > Performance Monitoring.
   • To disable performance monitoring for an initiator, select the initiator and click Disable Performance Monitoring.
