Locating a Disk

This section describes how to locate a disk. After a disk is located, its indicator is on.

A disk supports the location indicator function and its Location Indicator Status is Disabled.
The Locate Disk and Cancel Locating functions are supported only when dedicated hardware is used or the RAID controller card type is SAS3008, SAS3108, SAS3408, SAS3416, SAS3508, SAS2208, SAS3152, SAS3908, SP186-M-8i, SP686C-M-40i, or SP686C-M-16i.

Choose Cluster > Cluster > Hardware.
In the lower part of the function pane, click the Disks tab.
Select one or more desired disks and click Locate Disk.

You can also click More on the right of a desired disk and select Locate Disk.
