Adding an Object

Procedure

1. Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartQoS > Client.
2. Click More on the right of the desired QoS policy and select Add Object.

   The Add Object page is displayed.

3. Select a client type, including Using standard protocol and Using Distributed Parallel Client.
   

   • A client can have only one QoS policy.
   • When the client type is set to Using standard protocol, the traffic is limited by service network IP addresses (using standard protocols). When configuring a QoS policy, ensure that only one service network IP address (using standard protocols) is configured on a client.
   • Using standard protocol: Enter the service IP addresses of the clients to which the policy applies in the IP Address text box. IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are supported. You can enter multiple IP addresses separated by semicolons (;), spaces, or carriage returns.
   • Using Distributed Parallel Client: Select one or more clients to which the policy applies in the Available Client area on the left. They are added to the Selected Client area on the right automatically.

4. Click OK.
