Querying a Region

Prerequisites

For the default region, you can view properties of itself as well as the non-default regions added to it. For a non-default region, you can only view properties of itself.

Procedure

1. Choose Settings > Object Service Settings > Global Namespace.
2. View region parameters. Table 1 describes related parameters.

   Table 1 Region parameters

   Parameter	Description
   Name	Name of a region, which must be unique. [Value range] The name contains 1 to 32 characters. The name can contain letters, digits, and hyphens (-), and must start with a letter and cannot end with a hyphen (-).
   Region Domain Name	Domain name of a region. [Value range] A domain name contains 3 to 253 characters, including lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-). A sub-domain name cannot start or end with a hyphen (-). A domain name must contain a second-level domain name. Each sub-domain name contains 1 to 63 characters and is separated from each other using periods (.). The top-level domain name cannot contain digits only. A maximum of 128 domain names with no hierarchical relationship can be entered. Separate the domain names with semicolons (;).
