This section describes how to view information about quota reports.
Context
- On the quota report management page, click
to refresh quota reports. - On the quota report management page, click
or 
next to a parameter and enter a keyword to search for desired quota reports. - On the quota report management page, click
and select desired quota report parameters to be viewed.
Prerequisites
A namespace and a quota have been created.
Procedure
- Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartQuota > Quota Reports.
- Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
- Select a namespace in the namespace list on the left and view its quota reports in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes related parameters.

Dtree
Dtree limited by a quota.
NOTE:When a quota is applied to a namespace, Dtree is displayed as --.
ID
ID of a quota.
Quota Type
Type of a quota.
Quota Path
Absolute path of the directory where a quota takes effect.
NOTE:When a quota is applied to a namespace, Quota Path is displayed as /.
Directory
Relative path of the directory where a quota takes effect.
NOTE:When a quota is applied to a namespace or dtree, Directory is displayed as /.
User or User Group
Name of the user or user group limited by a quota.
NOTE:When Quota Type is Directory quota, User or User Group is displayed as --.
User or User Group Type
Type of the user or user group limited by a quota. The value can be Local or Domain.
NOTE:When Quota Type is Directory quota, or User or User Group is All users or All user groups, User or User Group Type is displayed as --.
Space Hard Quota
If the used file space reaches the space hard quota, the system immediately forbids writes and reports an alarm. The file space that exceeds the hard quota cannot be used.
Space Soft Quota
If the used file space reaches the space soft quota, the system reports an alarm but still allows writes. If the soft quota grace period elapses or hard quota is reached, the system immediately forbids writes and reports an alarm.
Space Advisory Quota
If the used file space reaches the space advisory quota, the system reports an alarm but still allows writes.
Space Quota Usage (%)
Ratio of the used file space to the space hard quota.
NOTE:Windows user quota statistics take effect for namespaces or dtrees in NTFS and Mixed security styles.
File Quantity Hard Quota
If the number of files reaches the file quantity hard quota, the system reports an alarm and new files cannot be added. However, operations on existing files are not affected.
File Quantity Soft Quota
If the number of files reaches the file quantity soft quota, the system reports an alarm but new files can still be added. If the soft quota grace period elapses or hard quota is reached, new files cannot be added and an alarm is reported.
File Quantity Advisory Quota
If the number of files reaches the file quantity advisory quota, the system reports an alarm but new files can still be added.
File Quantity Quota Usage (%)
Ratio of the number of existing files to the file quantity hard quota.
NOTE:Windows user quota statistics take effect for namespaces or dtrees in NTFS and Mixed security styles.
Soft Quota Grace Period (Days)
If the used file space or number of files reaches the soft quota, the system generates an alarm but still allows writes or new files can still be added within this period. If this period elapses, the system immediately forbids writes and new files cannot be added. In addition, an alarm is reported.
Collect Snapshot Space Statistics
Whether to collect statistics of the snapshot space included in the used file space.
Percentage of Used Snapshot Space in Used Space Quota (%)
Percentage of the snapshot capacity to the used file space.
