This section describes how to view scenario-specific SmartCompression policies of a specific namespace.
Context
- On the scenario-specific SmartCompression policy management page, click
to refresh scenario-specific SmartCompression policies. - On the scenario-specific SmartCompression policy management page, click
or 
next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for desired scenario-specific SmartCompression policies. - On the scenario-specific SmartCompression policy management page, click
and select desired scenario-specific SmartCompression policy parameters to be viewed.
Procedure
- Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartCompression > SmartCompression.
- Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
- Select a desired file directory from the list on the left. Scenario-specific SmartCompression policies created for it are displayed in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes related parameters.
For a directory, if it is created with a policy, such policy is applied preferentially. If the directory is not created with a policy, it inherits the policy created for its parent directory.

Name
Name of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
ID
ID of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
Execution Mode
Execution mode of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy. The options are Periodical and One-off.
Scenario-Specific SmartCompression Mode
Compression mode of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy. The options are Compression and Decompression.
Task Status
Current task status of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
- Initiating: If a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy is configured for a directory for the first time, the directory is in this state before the first compression start time is reached.
- To be scheduled: The compression start time has elapsed and the task is waiting to be executed.
- Running: The task is running.
- Complete: The task is complete.
File Name Filtering
File name filtering policy of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
File Size
Size of files for which a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy takes effect.
User or User Group
User or user group filtering policy of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
Time Policy
File operation time filtering policy of a scenario-specific SmartCompression policy.
