Viewing General Information About Heterogeneous Devices

This section describes how to view the general information about added heterogeneous devices.

Context

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Cluster > Heterogeneous Device.
  2. View information about the heterogeneous devices. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Table 1 Heterogeneous device information

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    Name of a heterogeneous device.

    ID

    ID of a heterogeneous device.

    Node Connection Status

Status of the connection between nodes in a cluster and a heterogeneous device. The options are Normal, Abnormal, and Partially connected.

    • Normal: All nodes in the cluster are connected to the heterogeneous device.
    • Abnormal: All nodes in the cluster are disconnected from the heterogeneous device.
    • Partially connected: Some nodes in the cluster are connected to the heterogeneous device.

    Device Management IP Address

Management IP address of a heterogeneous device. You can use this address to log in to the management system of the heterogeneous device.

    Device Type

Type of a heterogeneous device. The value can be Blu-ray or Non-Blu-ray.

    Max. Bandwidth

Maximum transmission bandwidth supported by a heterogeneous device.

    OPS Upper Limit

Maximum OPS supported by a heterogeneous device.

    Added

Time when a heterogeneous device is added.

  3. (Optional) Click the name of a Blue-ray device. Detailed information about the Blue-ray device is displayed. Click the name of a non-Blue-ray device. The service and QoS policy information about the device is displayed.

In the Operation area in the upper right corner of the Blu-ray device details page:

Click Modify to modify the access information and service information about the device.

You can click Remove to remove the device from DeviceManager.

If the user information used for service access on the Blu-ray device changes, click Relog In. You can directly log in to the device again using the latest user information.
