Modifying a Super Administrator

This operable enables you to periodically change the password of a user for system security.

Context

Procedure

  1. Choose Settings > User and Security > Users and Roles > User Management.
  2. Select the desired user and click Modify.

    The Modify User page is displayed.

  3. (Optional) Change the password of the current user. Select Modify Password, and set Old Password, New Password, and Confirm Password.

    • The password contains 8 to 16 characters.
    • The password must contain special characters and at least two of the following types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and digits. Special characters include !"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^`{_|}~ and spaces.
    • A password cannot be the same as the user name or the reverse of the user name.
    • A password cannot be the same as the old password.

  4. Change the login method of the current user. Select at least one of the login methods among DeviceManager, CLI, and RESTful.
  5. Click OK.
