Associating a QoS Policy

This section describes how to associate a QoS policy with a namespace, so that the performance of the namespace is controlled by the QoS policy.

Prerequisites

A namespace has been created and has not been associated with any QoS policy.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Resources > Namespace.
  2. Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select a desired namespace to be associated with a QoS policy and click Associate with QoS Policy.

    The Associate with QoS Policy page is displayed.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired namespace and select Associate with QoS Policy.

  4. Select a QoS policy.

    You can click Create to create a QoS policy. For details, see Creating a SmartQoS Policy.

  5. Click OK.
