Configuring Basic Object Service Parameters

This operation enables you to configure basic parameters for the object service.

Procedure

  1. Choose Settings > Object Service Settings > Basic Configuration.
  2. Set the basic object service parameters. Table 1 describes related parameters.

    Object Service Request Response Namespace

    Sets the namespace parameter of an object service request response message.

    NOTICE:

    Modifying the value of Object Service Request Response Namespace restarts the object service and services will be interrupted for about 3 minutes. You are advised to modify the value of Object Service Request Response Namespace during off-peak hours.

    [Value range]

    • Address format: http(s)://IPv4/[IPv6]/Domain name:Port/Path
    • The value must start with http or https.
    • The value is an IPv4 address, an IPv6 address, or a domain name. A domain name contains 3 to 253 characters, including lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-) and cannot start or end with a hyphen (-). The domain name must contain a second-level domain name. Each sub-domain name contains 1 to 63 characters and is separated from each other using periods (.). The top-level domain name cannot contain digits only.
    • The port ranges from 1 to 65535 and is optional.
    • The path can contain letters, digits, and special characters !#$&'()*+,/:;=?@[]-_.~, and is optional.

    Redirect to upon a Website Access Error

    Redirects to a URL if access to a hosted static website fails.

    NOTE:

    If the URL you set is incorrect and the specified object service file cannot be found, the request is redirected to www.myobsdomain.com.

  3. Click Save.
  4. Confirm your operation as prompted.
