Expanding the Capacity of a Replication Cluster

This operation enables you to expand the capacity of a replication cluster to meet service requirements.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Configuration > Replication Cluster.
  2. Click More on the right of the desired replication cluster and select Expand Capacity.

    The Expand Capacity page is displayed.

  3. Add replication nodes.

    1. Select the nodes to be added to the replication cluster.
    2. Click Submit.
    3. Wait until the submission is successful, and then click Next.

  4. Configure the network.

    1. Configure network information for replication nodes. Table 1 describes related parameters.

      Parameter

      Description

      Transmission Protocol

      Indicates the transmission protocol of the replication network. TCP is supported.

      IP Address Range

      Indicates the IP address range of the replication network.

      NOTE:

      Plan the IP address properly to ensure that the replication IP address is different from other IP addresses.

      Subnet Mask/Prefix

      Indicates the subnet mask. This parameter identifies the subnet to which a replication IP address belongs.

      Port

      Indicates the port used by an IP address.

    2. Click Preview.
    3. Click Submit.

  5. Wait until the submission is successful, and then click Cancel.
