Browsing Compression Policies

This operation enables you to view compression policies of a specific namespace.

Context

On the compression policy management page, click to refresh the compression policy information.
On the compression policy management page, click or next to a parameter and enter a keyword or select a parameter value to search for the required compression policy information.
On the compression policy management page, click and select the required compression policy to view its information.

Procedure

Choose Resources > Tuning > SmartCompression.
Select a desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.

Select a desired file directory from the list on the left. Compression policies created for the file directory are displayed in the function pane on the right. Table 1 describes the related parameters.

For a directory, if it is created with a policy, such policy is applied preferentially. If the directory is not created with a policy, it inherits the policy created for its parent directory.

Parameter	Description
Name	Name of a compression policy.
ID	ID of a compression policy.
Execution Mode	Execution mode of a compression policy. The options are Periodical and One-off.
Compression Mode	Compression mode of a compression policy. The options are Compression and Decompression.
Task Status	Current task status of a compression policy. Initiating: If a compression policy is configured for a directory for the first time, the directory is in this state before the first compression start time is reached. To be scheduled: The compression start time has elapsed and the task is waiting to be executed. Running: The task is running. Complete: The task is complete.
File Name Filtering	File name filtering policy of a compression policy.
File Size	Size of files for which a compression policy takes effect.
User or User Group	User or user group filtering policy of a compression policy.
Time Policy	File operation time filtering policy of a compression policy.

You can click the name of a desired policy to view its general information.
