This operation enables you to add source namespaces or source dtrees to an existing snapshot schedule. After that, the system will create snapshots for the added source namespaces or source dtrees based on the execution policy of the snapshot schedule.
Prerequisites
Namespaces and dtrees configured with compression policies cannot be added to snapshot schedules.
Procedure
- Choose Data Protection > Plans > Snapshot Schedule > Schedule.
- Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
- Click More on the right of a desired snapshot schedule and select Add Member.
The Add Member page is displayed.
You can also click the name of a desired snapshot schedule. On the page that is displayed, click Add Member to add namespaces or dtrees.
- Add members to the snapshot schedule.
- On the Namespace tab page, select desired namespaces for which you want to create a snapshot schedule. They will be automatically added to the right pane.
- On the Dtree tab page, select an owning namespace and then desired dtrees for which you want to create a snapshot schedule. They will be automatically added to the right pane.
Namespaces and dtrees can be added to the same snapshot schedule.
- Click OK.
