Creating VLAN Ports in Batches

This operation enables you to create multiple VLAN ports.

Procedure

  1. Choose Cluster > Network > Port and Route > VLAN Port.
  2. Choose Create > Create VLAN Ports.

    The Create VLAN Ports page is displayed.

  3. Set the parameters listed in Table 1.

    Parameter

    Description

    Port Type

    Indicates the type of the VLAN port to be created. The value can be Physical port or Bond port.

    Transmission Protocol

    Indicates the transmission protocol used by the VLAN port. The value can be TCP and RoCE.

    Select Port

    Selects one or more ports at the same name.

    VLAN ID

    Indicates IDs of the VLANs that uses the VLAN ports. The value ranges from 1 to 4094.

    VLAN Port Name

    Indicates the name of the VLAN ports.

    NOTE:
    • The VLAN port name can contain a maximum of 13 characters.
    • The VLAN port name can contain only lowercase letters or digits and must end with period (.) + VLAN ID.

  4. Click OK.

    To ensure that the VLAN ports are available, you need to configure an IP address for them. For details, see Configuring IP Addresses.
