After the Grafana service is enabled, Filebeat and Metricbeat processes start to obtain node performance data and forward the data to LogStash for formatting. The processed data is stored in the database for Grafana to display. Filebeat and Metricbeat are integrated into the product package. After the system is deployed, Filebeat and Metricbeat are also deployed. By default, Filebeat and Metricbeat are not started.
Prerequisites
The operations described in Configuring the Grafana Server must be performed.
Procedure
- Choose Monitor > Performance Monitoring > Grafana.
- Click Add.
The Add Node page is displayed on the right.
No performance statistics is reported for the independently deployed management node and DPC compute node.
- In the Available Nodes area, select nodes and add them to the Selected Nodes area.
- Click OK.
