Deleting a Remote Replication Pair

After you delete a remote replication pair, the replication relationship between primary and secondary resources of the remote replication pair will be deleted, and data on primary resources will no longer be synchronized to secondary resources.

Prerequisites

Running Status of the remote replication pair supports deletion. Table 1 shows in which status a remote replication pair can be deleted.

If a remote replication pair is disconnected, you need to delete it from both the primary and secondary ends.

If a remote replication pair is disconnected, you need to delete it from both the primary and secondary ends.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Namespace > Remote Replication Pair.
  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select one or more desired remote replication pairs and click Delete.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired remote replication pair and select Delete.

  4. Confirm your operation as prompted.

    If you select Forcibly ensure data consistency for the secondary resource when deleting a remote replication pair and data on the secondary resource is incomplete, the system automatically rolls back the data on the secondary resource to the previous complete state.
