Modifying a Snapshot

This operation enables you to change the name of a snapshot.

Prerequisites

Scheduled snapshots cannot be modified.

Procedure

  1. Choose Data Protection > Protection Entity > Namespace > Snapshot.
  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select the desired namespace in the namespace list on the left. In the function pane on the right, click More on the right of the desired snapshot and select Modify.

    The Modify Snapshot page is displayed.

  4. Modify the snapshot name.

    • The name contains 1 to 255 characters.
    • The name can contain only letters, digits, and underscores (_) and must start with a letter.

  5. Click OK.
