Deleting a Local UNIX Authentication User

After a local UNIX authentication user is deleted, it can no longer access shares.

Procedure

  1. Choose Resources > Access > Authentication User > UNIX Users > Local Authentication User.
  2. Select the desired account from the Account drop-down list in the upper left corner.
  3. Select one or more desired local UNIX authentication users and click Delete.

    You can also click More on the right of a desired local UNIX authentication user and select Delete.

  4. Confirm your operation as prompted.
